Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the F3 website, including the Donate page and Join form. F3 ("F3," "we," "us," or "our") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. By using this site, making a donation, or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Using this site

You may use this site for lawful, personal, and nonprofit purposes. You agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, or someone else's information
Interfere with the site's security, CAPTCHA, or normal operation, or attempt to access systems you are not authorized to use
Use automated tools to scrape the site or submit forms
Use the site to harass, defraud, or harm others

We may suspend access or disregard submissions that violate these Terms.

2. Donations

Donations are processed by Givebutter, our donation platform, and its payment processors. Your payment is also subject to Givebutter's terms and privacy policy. F3 does not store your card or bank details; see our Privacy Policy.

F3 is recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive an email receipt for your records. F3 does not provide tax advice; please consult your tax advisor about your situation.

Recurring (monthly) gifts continue until you cancel. You can cancel or change a recurring gift through the link in your Givebutter receipt or by contacting us.

3. Designated gifts and funds

When you give to a specific fund or need, F3 uses your gift for that purpose. If a need is fully met, is no longer required, or cannot be fulfilled, or an event fund closes with money remaining, F3 will direct your gift to the most closely related purpose within its charitable mission. Final control over the use of all gifts rests with F3, as required for your gift to be tax-deductible.

Needs, funds, and progress shown on this site are provided for information and may change as partners report and verify them.

4. Refunds

Donations are non-refundable. If a processing error occurs, such as a duplicate charge or an amount you did not intend, contact us promptly and we will work with you and Givebutter to correct it. Any corrected amount is no longer tax-deductible, and we will update your receipt accordingly.

5. Partner Waitlist

Signing up through our Join form lets us contact you about serving, getting help or partnering with F3. It does not create a partnership, guarantee assistance or a founding or pilot seat, or create any obligation for you or for F3. Any partnership will be set out in a separate written agreement.

6. Hazard and emergency information

Not an official warning service Hazard briefs, maps, and alerts on this site are summaries of public data from sources such as NOAA, the National Weather Service, NASA, USGS and other government agencies, provided for general awareness. They may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Always follow official warnings and instructions from the National Weather Service and your local emergency management officials. In an emergency, call 911.

7. Information you submit

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit through this site. By submitting it, you allow F3 to use it as described in our Privacy Policy, including to contact you. Please do not submit information about disaster survivors or other people without their permission.

8. Intellectual property

The F3 name, logo, text, images, and design on this site belong to F3 or its licensors. You may share links to the site and quote brief excerpts with attribution. Any other use requires our written permission. Partner names and logos belong to their owners.

9. Third-party services and links

This site uses third-party services, including Givebutter for donations, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, and Cloudflare for hosting, and may link to other websites. F3 is not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of third-party services or sites.

10. Disclaimers

This site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that information on it is complete or current.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, F3 and its directors, officers, volunteers, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or information on it.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold F3 harmless from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the site.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which F3 is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
