For individuals
Be ready for the next storm, and help the people around you.
You don’t need experience or a title to make a difference. Start with the free tools below. If a storm has already hit your home, start with the box just below.
Need help right now?
If anyone is in danger, call 911. For food, shelter and other local help, call or text 211. You can also tell F3 what you need and we’ll help you find the right people.
Four simple steps
Where to start
- Get ready at home
Check the weather for your ZIP code, print a radio card for the drawer, and take the “Are you ready?” course to make a plan and build a kit.
- Learn to help in the first minutes
Two short courses cover CPR basics and what to do until help arrives: call 911, stay safe, stop the bleeding and comfort the injured.
- Help your community
Learn how to help after a disaster without getting in the way. Then join a FaithFriendsFamilyFest or log your volunteer hours so they count for your town.
- Stay connected
Join F3 for stories from the field and ways to help. Pray with others on the prayer wall, and give if you can.
